We have decided to postpone MSG #5 due to potential turf damage at ETSU and very low pre reg numbers. There is an 80% chance of rain in Johnson City tomorrow, and a 60% chance on Saturday. Although these would make for awesome race conditions. We don’t want to cause damage to the ETSU campus. If you have already registered and want a refund please contact me. I can also transfer your entry to another race. Our new tentative race date is November 1.
Sorry for the inconvenience
Reedy Creek Gravel Grind
Sun Sep 21, 2014 8:30am – 3:30pm (EDT)
This is going to be a tough ride. Right before we get full into Cyclocross season, we thought we would put together a fun Gravel ride. We will be having a free meal afterwards and maybe a Ping Pong Tournament. Who knows!!!
We will also be taking some donations for the MSG Cyclocross season this year. It takes money to put on great races and in order to keep these races alive we want to support them. Please bring a 20$ donation to take part in the ride and meal. The donation is not required but you might be required to eat your chili without a utensil if you don’t pay up.
There will be two routes. A short route of 32 miles and a long route of 60 miles. The ride will not be supported but the courses will be marked. Be sure to bring your flat repair kits and plenty of water. We will try to have a sag wagon available on the long route. If you have any questions about details give us a call at the shop at 423-765-2770.
Come out and support Kari’s Heart Foundation and have a chance to win a 2015 Giant Allroad 2 Bicycle AND a Giant Revel 2 Disc Brake Mountain Bike provided by Piney Flats Bicycle Shop.
