Reedy Creek Gravel Grind
Sun Sep 21, 2014 8:30am – 3:30pm (EDT)
This is going to be a tough ride. Right before we get full into Cyclocross season, we thought we would put together a fun Gravel ride. We will be having a free meal afterwards and maybe a Ping Pong Tournament. Who knows!!!
We will also be taking some donations for the MSG Cyclocross season this year. It takes money to put on great races and in order to keep these races alive we want to support them. Please bring a 20$ donation to take part in the ride and meal. The donation is not required but you might be required to eat your chili without a utensil if you don’t pay up.
There will be two routes. A short route of 32 miles and a long route of 60 miles. The ride will not be supported but the courses will be marked. Be sure to bring your flat repair kits and plenty of water. We will try to have a sag wagon available on the long route. If you have any questions about details give us a call at the shop at 423-765-2770.
Come out and support Kari’s Heart Foundation and have a chance to win a 2015 Giant Allroad 2 Bicycle AND a Giant Revel 2 Disc Brake Mountain Bike provided by Piney Flats Bicycle Shop.

om Dula’s Revenge features
50 49 miles of fast, rolling, and twisting country roads, including 15 13.5 miles of gravel, and finishing in true Flemish classic style with a submerged road crossing and a tricky forest road climb (there is a construction detour around Gravel Section VII).
The feedback from last year was overwhelmingly positive, and this will be the same route, but now starting and finishing at the Leatherwood Mountains Resort – stay in one of their cabins, and bring your family to enjoy a guided horseback ride, fly fishing, or a hike while you are riding.
Once again, you can also sign up for the non-competitive Gravel FUNdo category and ride the same course, or opt to skip the submerged roads and final climb.

Also, the race promoter is in need of volunteers. He will give race credit for other races he promotes in exchange for marshaling Tom Dula. Contact: email@example.com
